EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

This vanity is built to be on-the-go in a purple hard-shell exterior decorated with pretty colorful leaves, stars and pearls. 15 play accessories are included; the vanity of course, 1 play atomizer, 1 tiara, 1 pair of shell earrings, 1 comb, 1 dinglehopper brush, 1 Flounder makeup case with lid and foam applicator, 1 play curling iron and 4 hair bands. If you're wondering where you're going to store all the accessories, worry not- there is a drawer! What's nice is that the vanity has music that plays when opening up it up and out pops Sebastian! It's a nice way to start the day, but if you'd like to not have the music play, there's an on and off switch, located on the bottom. There's also a turquoise star located next to the mirror that switches the music off, keeps the lights on or can turn the lights off. Just note that the turquoise star has no function during the beginning of the song.

During play kids can place their accessories on the surface. There are two holes to hold the dinglehopper brush and curling iron. Also, there are two slots to place the atomizer and makeup case.

Is It Fun?

Children who are fans of playing beauty salon or fans of Ariel will enjoy the Ariel Music and Lights Vanity. This allows them to have a space of their own and not getting into trouble going into mom's things.  However, the vanity is very heavy making it not easy to travel with . The handle also gets in the way of the drawer and a few more accessories could've enhanced the play.

Who It’s For

It's nice that it can close up and move. Having the music from the movie play is a nice touch.  An on and off switch is available and the accessories make play time fun!
