OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Get baby and new parents ready with all the baby bottle essentials thanks to Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Options+ Anti-colic Bottle Newborn Sets. The Newborn Gift Set features narrow plastic bottles, while the Newborn Feeding Set has wide-neck plastic bottles. All of the baby bottles are Dr. Brown's new Options+ Anti-colic bottles that feature newly enhanced internal vent systems, as well as more breast-like nipples for the wide-neck versions. The internal vent system keeps air out of milk, which can help reduce spit-up, gas, and burping.

The process works like this: air enters the bottle collar and channels through the vent tube to the end of the bottle, bypassing the milk. The vent prevents aeration of the milk, vacuum pressure, and nipple collapse. As your baby's feeding develops, you can remove the vent system and still continue using the same bottles.

The Newborn Gift Set includes three eight-ounce narrow bottles, two four-ounce narrow bottles, five level 1 (birth+) nipples, two level 2 (3 months+) nipples, two storage caps, and three cleaning brushes.

The Newborn Feeding Set includes three nine-ounce wide-neck bottles, two five-ounce wide-neck bottles, five level 1 (birth+) nipples, two level 2 (3 months+) nipples, and two storage caps.

Why Is It Useful?

These Dr. Brown's bottles are very easy to use and clean. The only difference between the two sets is the bottle shape and sizes, and the decision about which set to get will come down to personal preference. Either one of these sets would make a great baby shower gift as a way to get a new mom and baby started with baby bottles. And the design of these particular bottles can help ease the transition from breast to bottle.

Who It’s For

These bottles can be used with babies from birth and up.
