Black + Decker Junior Tools Review (Jakks Pacific)

Black + Decker Junior Tools
What It Is

Preschoolers can tinker in the toolshed just like mom or dad with the Black + Decker Junior Tools toys. Both the Junior Tool Box and Junior Tool Belt Set come with kid-sized toy tools and accessories that mimic real Black + Decker tools.

There are 14 pretend tools and accessories in the Junior Tool Box: a hammer, a screwdriver, a saw, a wrench, pliers, two nails, two nuts and bolts, a piece of wood with four pre-cut holes, and the toolbox with a handle that doubles as a ruler. Kids can practice hammering and screwing the nails and nuts and bolts into the wood, or use the tools to fix up other toys and items around the house.

The Junior Tool Belt Set includes 11 tools and accessories, such as a real fabric tool belt with adjustable Velcro closure. Keep the two wrenches, hammer, screwdriver, two screws, two nails, play wood piece with two pre-cut holes, and goggles handy when you store them in the wearable belt. With this playset, kids can practice hammering and screwing the nails and screws into the play wood, or find other toys and items around the house to "fix up".

Is It Fun?

Both of these toy tool sets inspire a lot of imaginative play for budding fixer-uppers. For kids who see their parents working with tools, these toy versions make it easy for kids to pretend to be just like mom and dad. And through all of that imaginative play, they'll be working fine motor skills.

Who It’s For
