Preschoolers can ride to the rescue just like Marshall in their very own PAW Patrol Marshall's Fire Truck. This battery-operated ride-on is a red fire truck featuring PAW Patrol and Marshall graphics throughout. It even comes with a hat, shovel, and toy fire extinguisher to promote pretend play as kids ride.
Once turned on, it has siren sound effects and light-up headlights. Press the buttons on the steering wheel for more truck sounds. A separate button causes the sirens and lights to sound up again. And an attached walkie talkie functions as a microphone.
To drive the truck, press the pedal. The fire truck will go forward at a maximum speed of 2.5 miles per hour. If you press the direction switch, you can make the truck drive backward, too. The steering wheel controls the front wheels, and all four wheels have Power Trax rubber traction strips on them for a smooth and steady ride. When you want to stop driving, just lift your foot off the pedal and the truck will stop.
PAW Patrol fans will really like driving around in their own fire truck just like Marshall, especially because it's so easy for them to drive it. The inclusion of toy accessories gives the truck a more realistic feel and enhances the imaginative roleplay.
Marshall's Fire Truck is for PAW Patrol fans ages 3 to 5. There is a maximum weight limit of 60 pounds.
We did have some difficulty snapping the hood onto the truck body, but overall, it only took 15 minutes to assemble the truck.
This runs on a rechargeable 6V battery. It needs to charge for 18 hours the first time, and then it will take 10 hours on subsequent charges. Don't let it charge for longer than 24 hours. Charging the battery on this is easy because you don't have to remove any parts to access the charging port. It's right under the seat.
You'll also need two AAA batteries, which are not included.
