Your favorite toys are now part of your favorite card game with Toy Story 4 UNO. This version features a carnival lights theme and images of all the characters, old and new, from the new movie. It plays like the original but with the addition of a new action card.
As a refresher, each player takes turns matching a card from their hand to the top card on the discard pile, either by number, color, or symbol. If you don't have a match, you've got to draw one card from the draw pile.
Most of the cards have numbers on them, from 0 to 9, and you'll find character images of Woody, Forky, Buzz, and Bo Peep, among others. But then there are action cards. This version includes your standard Draw Two, Reverse, Skip, Wild, and Wild Draw 4. But it also includes a Wild Duke Caboom card. (There are four in the deck.) When you play this card, you get to mix up the hands of any two players and then equally deal the cards back to them. This means that one player will end up with more or less cards than they had.
Don't forget to yell "UNO!" when you play your next-to-last card to let everyone know you have one card left. If you don't, you're subject to drawing two extra cards.
Once a player has no cards left, the round is over, and that player receives points for all the cards left in his opponents' hands. Play until one player reaches 500 points.
This has the same easy gameplay as before, but we do like that an extra card was added to spice things up and offer a little more differentiation than just having Buzz and Woody on the cards. If you're an UNO fan and a Toy Story fan, this game could be a good addition to your next game night.
Toy Story 4 UNO is for two to 10 players ages 7 and up. If you're a fan of the original UNO and the new Toy Story 4 movie, then you'll love adding this themed version to your game collection.
The game comes with 112 cards and instructions.
A Toy Story 4 Magic 8 Ball is also available and sold separately.
