Do you know what's inside this box? That's the object of the game What's in the Box? Challenge friends and family to guess what's inside the box. Each player or team gets a black bag and must fill the bag with two random items they find around the house. The bags are so that you can keep your items hidden from the other players. Once everyone has found their items, then players take turns being the Challenger. The Challenger secretly places one item in the box and closes the doors. All the other players take turns as Guessers. When it's your turn as Guesser, turn the 10-second dial timer on the top of the box to start the countdown, and reach into the box on the sides to feel the hidden item. Then, secretly write down what you think is inside. Once all the Guessers have guessed, reveal your answers. If you're correct, you score one point. For every wrong guess, the Challenger receives a point. Continue playing until all items have been placed in the box and all players have made guesses. At the end of the game, the player with the highest score wins.
The idea behind this game is nothing new, but the difference with this packaged version is that you get a built-in timer that ups the suspense for the guessers. And because you can fill this box with whatever you want, the game is going to be different every time you play. It's surprising, it's competitive, and it's fun for the whole family. You could also play this without keeping score as a sensory game for younger players.
The game is for two or more players ages 4 and up.
The game includes a challenge box with built-in timer, 4 bags, 20 scorecards, and instructions. You have to provide the things you'll be hiding inside the box.
