Bring the Fortnite battles to life with Hasbro's lineup of Nerf Fortnite blasters. Each of the blasters replicates the look and colors of the ones used in the video game, but with a little bit of Nerf orange in there. The lineup includes the SP-L and the AR-L, each sold separately.
The SP-L is the smaller of the two. It comes with six Nerf Elite darts and a removable barrel attachment. To load it up, pull the slide back and load up to three darts. Then push the slide forward and pull the trigger to fire one dart. To fire again, you'll need to move the slide back and then forward again before pulling the trigger. You can blast with or without the barrel attachment, but it definitely looks cooler with the barrel. We got our darts to fire about 30 feet.
The AR-L is a massive battery-powered blaster that comes with 20 Nerf Elite darts. It has a 10-dart clip that is easy to load. To fire, press and hold the acceleration button to start the motor, and then pull the trigger to fire one dart. We got our darts to fly between 25 and 35 feet. You've got two flip-up sights, one at the front and one at the back, plus this works with the Nerf Tactical Rail system for adding accessories.
With these toys, Nerf and Fortnite fans get blaster replicas that are powerful and look cool. We were impressed with the distance from each blaster and think that either one would make a great addition to your Nerf arsenal. This will be a fun way for kids to roleplay Fortnite in their backyards, and we even think that older fans will have fun collecting and playing with these.
The Fortnite blasters are for fans of the game and Nerf ages 8 and up.
The AR-L needs four AA batteries, and those are not included.
The SP-L retails for $19.99. The AR-L retails for $49.99.
