OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Give your baby lots of room to play and grow with the Magical Tales Super Mat, which provides sensory and developmental experiences in a comfy way. This extra-large plush mat can be used for lay and play time and tummy time. Measuring 59 inches by 39 inches, this large mat gives one or two babies plenty of space to explore. And exploration is definitely a theme here, as the cute animal characters printed on the mat have all been named after historical pioneers: Marie Curie, Christopher Columbus, Nikola Tesla, and Isaac Newton (although they did spell Isaac's name wrong on the packaging). This will mean nothing to babies, but parents may get a kick out of it.

What will appeal to babies are the six activities. There are peek-a-boo flaps with different textures, a crinkly star, an easy-grasp teether, a removable mirror to promote tummy time, a plush cloud, and shiny satin ribbon tags to pull.

When playtime is over, simply fold up the mat and secure using the handle loop and button.
