Garden Friends Play Arch Review (Hape)

Garden Friends Play Arch
What It Is

Stimulate a baby's senses from wherever baby is with the Garden Friends Play Arch. This stand-alone arch can be attached to a crib, play yard, or car seat to offer visual and auditory stimulation, as well as motor skill development. Hanging from the Play Arch are four toys. There are two fabric shapes, a sun and a leaf, with translucent centers. The sun's center is textured and the leaf's center has a bluish tint. In the center is a soft bee with large plastic wings and a rattling bead ring. And the last toy is an apple that chimes when shaken. Two wooden pieces at the end make a clacking noise when baby bats at them.

Attaching this is easy to do. Just twist to loosen the clamps and then twist again to tighten them up against the surface you have chosen.

Is It Fun?

This has multiple uses, which parents will really appreciate. Whether clipping it to a crib, a car seat, or a play yard, there is a lot on this toy for babies to explore.

Who It’s For

The Garden Friends Play Arch is for babies from birth to 5 months. You wouldn't want to continue using this once a baby is able to get up onto his hands and knees.

What To Be Aware Of

These toys are not intended to be "mouthed" by a baby, and you should set this up so that it is out of reach of a baby's face and mouth.

There's no way to fold or bend the arch out of the way if you want to keep it attached to the car seat or bouncy seat and easily get baby in and out. You'll probably have to remove the arch completely or flip the hanging toys over the arch rail so baby doesn't get hit in the face with the toys.
