OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Build your own Hot Wheels city with the four playsets in the Hot Wheels Ultimate Nemesis Bundle. You've probably seen all these playsets before because they have been available individually, but now they're together in one set. You've got the Dino Coaster Attack, the Downtown Speed Shop Escape, the Bat Manor Attack, and Volcano Escape. Each set includes one Hot Wheels car. Once assembled, you can play with the sets individually or connect them with the provided track pieces. These can also be connected to other sets for building out an even bigger Hot Wheels city.

The play with Volcano Escape is continuous play thanks to the motorized lava hands that bring trapped cars up and then down the ramp. If you launch cars and avoid the lava, the cars will go through the loop. There's also an escape hatch that the cars can zoom down.

The Downtown Speed Shop Escape allows kids to pretend to service their Hot Wheels cars. Raise the car lift to bring the cars up between the three levels, and when you're ready to go, press the launcher to speed down the ramp and through the dino's mouth.

With the Dino Coaster Attack, your Hot Wheels car can ride around the coaster ramp back to start or off the playset. But if you slam too softly, the dino's tail will knock you off.

And Bat Manor Attack has three levels of launching. First you launch to hit the gate and reveal the sleeping bat. Adjust the playset and launch again to wake up the bat. Adjust a third time to knock down the bat.

Is It Fun?

Hot Wheels fans will like getting four playsets in one and setting up such a giant Hot Wheels track set right out of the box. All of these playsets are fun to play with on their own, too, so if you only have space to play with one or two at a time, you'll still be engaged in lots of imaginative Hot Wheels play.

Who It’s For
