Launch into fun science learning with the Think & Learn Load & Launch Science Spinners toy. This gets preschoolers engaged in basic physics, experimentation, and cause and effect. It comes with a launcher mechanism that launches different spinner combinations. How far the spinner goes and what it does all depends on the spinner that kids create and how many times they pump the launcher before launching. Each pump causes the energy meter to move up by one. A "1" on the energy meter would be low energy, while a "10" would be the most launching force.
Choose one of the more than 35 learning and game cards to get started. The green cards are all about experimentation with different spinner combinations. There are 10 spinner pieces to mix and match. The purple cards provide information about scientific concepts, such as axis, weight, and force. And the orange cards are game starters to get kids thinking about gravity, friction, and more.
This is basically a scientific way to play with tops. Kids will like watching the spinners spin and experimenting with different combinations and energy levels to see what happens. While the cards do provide some instructional guidance, once kids know the basics of how to use this, they can really just experiment on their own. If the cards are used, a parent will need to play along to read what's on the cards and help reinforce the specific educational components.
The Science Spinners kit is for curious kids ages 3 to 6.
Adult assembly is required but is easy to do.
Because reading is involved, a parent will need to play along.
