OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Young fans of the professional world of skateboarding will love hangin' ten with the  NEW TONY HAWK BOX BOARDERS from Hog Wild. These funky little sidewalk surfers kids can skate, shoot and share videos. The Super Pack is a boxed set which includes 4 Box Boarders(including one mystery skateboarder), 1 clip on fish eye lens for smart phone filming, the Kidney Bowl(empty pool), 4 trick ramps with HUCK PUCK, and a pop cam holder. Kids compete by rolling these little stunt devils and executing stunts. Kids can download the free TONY HAWK BOX Boarders Studio app. They then can shoot, edit, and share videos. These are designed for ages 4 and up, and each rectangular box comes with a designated famed skateboarder on the outside and a large ball bering at the bottom of the box which provides the motion. These mini boarders come in single packs as well. They have a cool "leave in the package" collectors look to them. Each stand alone pack contains 2 boarders, one seen and one mystery. There is a cam holder and 4 ramps. Kids can collect the whole crew of 12 skaters. Fans of Tony Hawk and the world of skateboarding will get the most out of this set. All you need is a flat surface and you're ready to skate.

Is It Fun?

Kids can collect the whole crew of 12 skaters and perform their own stunts and tricks with these rectangular rollers.

Who It’s For

Fans of Tony Hawk and the world of skateboarding will get the most out of this set. The fish eye lens is a great feature. Young fans will like creating their own skateboarding videos using the BOX BOARDERS Video App. Though designed for 4 years old and up, many kids won't get what this toy is about. The design of the Box Boarders is disappointing because the cardboard is crushable and the paper stunt ramps are not very impressive. None the less, kids may still enjoy these rolling rectangles.

What To Be Aware Of

You will need scotch tape to use the trick ramps. Though designed for 4 years old and up, many kids won't get what this toy is about. This toy is for the professional skateboarder fan base and still the BOX BOARDER design is not great and the paper ramps are just ok.
