Crate Creatures Surprise Kaboom Box Review (MGA Entertainment)

Crate Creatures Surprise Kaboom Box
What It Is

Caution as you free the beast. The Crate Creatures Surprise Kaboom Box Nanner from MGA Entertainment is one part monster action figure and one part buildable doll.

To free this creature push down on the "TNT" plunger for an "explosive" unboxing. Watch as the sides of the crate unfold and all the parts of this creature tumble out for you to mix, match, and create. Crate Creatures come in a variety of characters and stand at roughly seven inches tall. Here we've got one of the newest additions to the line for 2019, Nanners.

Crate Creatures Nanners, after he is released, allows you to mix and match his parts to create your own custom monster beast with his own fun features. He also makes electronic sounds when you pull on his tongue and exchange and mix up his body parts.  Plus, Crate Creatures comes with smart sensors so they can even tell the difference between arms, legs and parts from other kaboom box creatures and makes corresponding sounds.

Is It Fun?

This toy is a lot of fun for kids that like the ability to customize and the silly entertainment of all the built-in sound effects as you mix and match.  Nanners really is a monster mash-up. As we pulled him apart and put him back together in a fun new way he made such silly sounds like snorting and laughing. It was like with every new combination, we were unlocking more secret sounds. In addition to this toy being completely customizable, it comes in "explosive" repeat play packaging and its funky features, such as its rubber tongue and goofy eyes, and silly sounds will make you want to keep playing with him.

Who It’s For

The Crate Creatures Surprise Kaboom Box is for ages 4 and up. This toy will appeal to kids that want to add to their Crate Creatures collections as well as those that want to customize their monsterific mash-up figures over and over again.
