EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

The original Zoomer was a robot pup, but the new Zoomer Playful Pup is a more lifelike electronic version of a real dog. It responds to sound and touch, and you can teach it to perform more than 25 tricks.

With its soft ears, floppy tongue, and wiggly tail, this pup is ready to play. Its eyes light up in different colors to indicate what mode it's in. In Normal mode, you can pet its head, chest, and belly for different sounds and reactions. There's also Voice Command mode that allows you to tell the pup to sit, lie down, shake a paw, and more. Make sure you read the instructions to name your pet so it will respond to its name and special voice commands. When you enter Cuddle Mode, petting the pup activates even more sounds and movement. You might even hear the Playful Pup bark "I love you!"

And if you don't want to spend time teaching your pup a trick, just enter Instant Trick mode, and the dog will automatically do a random trick, such as rolling over, playing dead, or dancing.

Is It Fun?

This dog moves around a lot, kind of like a real puppy. Kids who like electronic toy pets will really like all the interaction they get from this toy dog. It brings another level of realism to the popular line of Zoomer pets, and kids will really feel like they're training, caring for, and playing with a real dog.

Who It’s For

Zoomer Playful Pup is for ages 5 and up, and will be fun for kids who like dogs and electronic toy pets.
