Encourage girls to explore their world with the Nancy B's Science Club Microscope & Activity Journal. This purple-and-teal battery-powered microscope features a light and three different magnifications: 30x, 100x, and 400x. It also features a rubber eye cup for comfort when using.
Along with a microscope, the set also includes a variety of science tools for carrying out experiments. There are tweezers, a specimen vial, a scalpel, a spatula, a stirring rod, a test tube, a pipette, seven cover slips and slide labels, four prepared slides, and seven blank slides.
The 22-page activity journal helps kids get acquainted with the microscope and then offers different experiments so that kids can start using the microscope and see all that it does.
This gives kids their own tools to explore just like a real scientist. It's a nice way to introduce kids to microscopes and how they work, as well as give kids a close-up view of the world around them. The microscope works pretty well and is very lightweight so kids can take it with them on all sorts of explorations.
Nancy B's Science Club Microscope & Activity Journal is for curious girls ages 8 and up.
This requires three AAA batteries, which are not included.
