EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Travel the globe with the GeoSafari Jr. Talking Globe. Featuring the voice of Bindi Irwin, this globe provides more than 1,000 facts about continents, countries, cities, and the people and animals who live there.

The 12-inch globe features a dual swivel feature to give kids 360-degree views. Using the interactive smart pen, kids simply touch the pen's tip to any place on the globe to hear interesting facts about that location. There are also five play modes for more guided learning. Kids can explore and play games about Continents & Oceans, Nature, Countries, Cities & Capitals, and U.S.A. Cities & States. If you press "Find It" under any mode, you can test your knowledge and score points for answering correctly.

There is also a function to measure the distance between two cities, either in miles, kilometers, or something silly, such as bananas laid end to end.

Is It Fun?

It's very easy for young kids to activate the learning play with this toy. All it requires is the ability to tap the globe or the menu at the base to start playing. With different modes, games, and activities, there will be a lot for kids to explore. This is a wonderful way to introduce geography to young kids.
