Perch Hook-on Chair and Silicone Placemat Review (guzzie + Guss)

Perch Hook-on Chair and Silicone Placemat
What It Is

Bring your baby to the table with the Perch Hook-on Chair. This portable chair provides a tableside seat for baby, just like the rest of the family, whether you're at home or on the go.

To install the chair onto a table, just slip it on the table edge, raise the height adjustment bar as far as it will go, and twist the tightening cap until it fits against the bottom of the table. Then, place the child into the padded chair and secure with the five-point safety harness. The backrest is 14 inches tall to provide comfort and security for baby. A padded bumper keeps the child away from table edges and some food off the floor. The Perch also comes with a convenient travel bag.

There is also an optional silicone placemat to protect your table surfaces from spills. It's made of 100-percent food grade silicone and has a raised edge to help contain spills. It's easy to clean and dishwasher safe, plus it folds compactly so you can take it on the go.

Why Is It Useful?

This really brings baby to mealtime, keeping baby part of the family routine and conversation right at the table, as opposed to being separate in a high chair. And if space is an issue in your home, the Perch is a great alternative to a bulky high chair. Because you can take this on the go, it makes eating out or traveling with baby much easier.

Who It’s For

The Perch holds up to 37 pounds and should only be used with children who can sit up unassisted.

What To Be Aware Of

This is only for use with tables that are 0.6 inches to 3.75 inches thick.

The Perch chair ($69.99) comes in aqua, charcoal, black, red, and salt & pepper. The placemat ($13.99) is available in green, blue, or grey.
