Light up your building play with the Power Blox Basic Kit. It includes 46 pieces to build whatever you can imagine, while also being introduced to electrical circuitry without the use of wires. Each tin-plated block connects to a battery block that connects the electrical components. Some of the things kids can build with this set include a house, a helicopter, and a shark. The blocks can also be added to other brick systems to expand the building possibilities.
We like how open-ended this construction set is and how it encourages kids to experiment with the placement of the blocks to make the LEDs light up. It will be fun for kids to try and build the suggested models and then come up with their own light-up builds.
The Power Blox Basic Kit is for kids who like to build things ages 8 and up.
The included instructions show kids how to connect the bricks and modules so that the LEDs light up. However, there are no instructions for how to build what is shown on the back of the box. The E-Blox website did have an instructional video for how to build the shark. It took us about five minutes to build.
The set includes 46 pieces that are compatible with other brick systems.
