If you've ever wondered what Earth looks like from space, then hang Earth in My Room on your bedroom wall and find out. This earthscape shows you North and South America, and then it lights up to reveal a view of Earth from space with city lights that illuminate from East to West. Use the remote control to turn off and on the lights. If you press the "auto" button, the lights will stay on for 30 minutes before automatically shutting off. There's also a learning poster that gives more information about Planet Earth.
Young science lovers will like experiencing this perspective of Earth right in their bedrooms. It's easy to control with the remote and with auto shut-off after 30 minutes, you could even leave it on as a nightlight. It would be a very dim nightlight, however, because the lights are not as bright as you would think judging by what is shown on the box.
Earth in My Room is for curious kids ages 6 and up.
You'll need two AAA batteries and four AA batteries. Batteries are not included.
This easily mounts to a wall, though you'll need to provide your own mounting tools.
It's very hard to see the lights unless you are using this toy in complete darkness.
