OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Hexbug brought its vibrating robotic bug technology to toddlers through its Cuddlebots toy line, and now it's bringing fun playsets to the Cuddlebots, giving toddlers new ways to imagine and play with these cute and crawly creatures. The Silly Swing playset includes Simon Snail who uses soothing vibration technology to zoom forward when you turn him on. But if you play with him on the playset, you can place him on the swing and press down on the treetop to swing him back and forth. There is also a ladybug that slides up and down, making clicking sounds.

Is It Fun?

Much like the original Hexbugs, Cuddlebots are just fun to watch - and chase after. And with their soft bodies and chunky designs, the Cuddlebots offer engaging play that is also safe play for toddlers and preschoolers. Adding this playset just gives little ones new opportunities for play and storytelling, as well as features that help introduce them to cause and effect.

Who It’s For

The Cuddlebots Silly Swing is for ages 18 months and up. This playset will appeal to curious toddlers.

What To Be Aware Of

The Cuddlebot includes two cell batteries.

Off of the playset, Cuddlebots work best on hard, flat surfaces.
