LEGO Ideas Ship in a Bottle Review (LEGO)

LEGO Ideas Ship in a Bottle
What It Is

Combine a nautical tradition with LEGO building with the LEGO Ideas Ship in a Bottle construction set, model number 21313 and LEGO Ideas number 20. Using 962 pieces (don't worry - 284 of them are "water" bricks), you'll build a detailed ship with masts, cannons, captain's quarters, crow's nest, and printed sail elements all inside a see-through brick-built bottle. The bottle has a buildable cork with wax seal-style element, and it rests on a display stand with a built-in non-functioning compass, two globe elements, and a ship's "Leviathan" nameplate.

The booklet of building instructions also includes information about the fan designer, Jake Sadovich, and the LEGO model designers.

Is It Fun?

This is a really neat set that will look just as cool on display as a real ship in a bottle, and we suspect it's easier to get the LEGO ship inside the LEGO bottle, too. There's a lot of great detail on this set that LEGO fans will really appreciate, and it's definitely going to make a great collectible set for older builders.

Who It’s For

The LEGO Ideas Ship in a Bottle construction set is for ages 12 and up. This will be a fun set for anyone looking for a new LEGO challenge.

What To Be Aware Of

It took TTPM's Master Builder one hour to assemble this set, and the instructions were easy to follow.
