OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Light up your fun and friendship with Lil' Gleemerz. These are interactive characters with bushy light-up tails and big, glowing eyes that will talk to you, have a light-up dance party, and play games with you.

There are three Lil' Gleemerz characters to collect: Loomur, Amiglow, and Adorbrite. Each is sold separately, and each one has four touch points: the tail button, the back of the head, the forehead, and the nose. The nose is how you'll change through the three different modes of Hangout, Light Party, and Game.

Hangout mode is the default mode. In this mode, you can pet and tap its head or pinch its tail in different ways to activate a variety of responses. Some of our favorite Lil' Gleemerz phrases are, "Just living the gleem!" and "Aww, tail hug!"

But when you press its nose, you can switch to Light Party mode and clap or play your favorite music to watch your Lil' Gleemerz react to the beat with its rainbow tail and flashing eyes.

Press the nose again for Game mode, and then pet its head to scroll through three games. In each game, you're pressing the tail to try to "catch" lights by pressing on the tip of the tail. In Catch the Kiss, you want to catch the green kisses, not the red farts. In Tail Tennis, you're bouncing green lights back and forth with the Lil' Gleemerz. And in Stop on the Spot, you're trying to stop the red light on the green light in the center of the tail. Each game gets faster and faster as you progress. And at the end, your Lil' Gleemerz will tell you how you did.

The Lil' Gleemerz have poseable front paws and ears.

What To Be Aware Of

Three AAA batteries are included for the in-store try-me features, but we recommend replacing them before you play for best results.

It was a little difficult to get the responses from just tapping the forehead and back of head sensors to work.
