OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Power up Queen Elsa with the Disney Frozen Icy Lights Elsa doll from Hasbro. This is a new 2018 magical Disney Frozen fashion doll that brings the icy queen Elsa to life for Frozen fans in a new way.

As fans know, Elsa isn't just the queen of Arendelle. She's a magical queen who can whip up a winter wonderland with just the wave of her hand, or bring to life a frozen friend like Olaf with just a touch. Kids can bring the magic of Elsa's powers to life thanks to this doll's interactive lights and sound features. The magical/interactive features of this doll come to life with the press of Elsa's arm. Simply press down her right arm to activate one of three different sound effects along with a blue light feature. Hold the light to the included miniature  Olaf figure to further imagine bringing Olaf to life. A snowflake attachment is also included to mimic the icy effects from Elsa's hand, although we felt it better serves for imaginative play since it doesn't light up too well.

The doll features a molded-on bodice and sleeves to her iconic blue dress. The fabric skirt and cape are removable and feature a flurry of glittery snowflake details. The doll is not posable in the legs or arms.

Is It Fun?

Despite being out of theaters for 5 years now(!), Disney's Frozen is a movie that kids continue to fall in love with every time they watch and sing along with the music. This toy picks up on that by tapping into Elsa's features in a way that also encourages classic storytelling and doll play.

Who It’s For

The Disney Frozen Icy Lights Elsa doll is from Hasbro and it's for ages 3 and up. It's a fairly standard sound and lights fashion doll but for Frozen fans, it's definitely one to add to the collection especially for any parents that might want to say "Let it Go" to any musical Frozen dolls.

What To Be Aware Of

In package it appears, you can simply drop Elsa's wrist down to light-up Olaf but the Olaf figure is a lot shorter so you'll need to raise Olaf up to Elsa's hand to create the effect.
