Barbie Beekeeper Review (Mattel)

Barbie Beekeeper
What It Is

The Barbie Beekeeper comes in two skin tones (each sold separately), a protective beekeeper uniform, white gloves, brown boots, hat, mesh veil to cover the face from any stinging, and a bee stand to collect and make the honey. The doll's knees don't bend, and they will not stand on their own. However, the bee stand will. The bee stand is beautifully designed with cool features and accessories to further play on the imaginative role of a beekeeper. The blue beehive, which has a slot on the top and a drawer on the back can hold the tiny-sized bees when not in use. Kids can pretend the tiny-sized bees come to and from the hive just like they do in the real world. There are slots on the top of the beehive frame and on the flowers below the beehive. Kids can also spin to watch the bees "make honey" and collect the honey from the honeycomb which can slide in and out. Additional accessories include a computer monitor and 2 honey bears.

Is It Fun?

This is a fun option not just for Barbie fans, but kids who love to explore, and discover. It encourages make-believe role play as they imagine future possibilities.
