Alex Spa D.I.Y. Bubble Bars Review (Alex)

Alex Spa D.I.Y. Bubble Bars
What It Is

With the Alex Spa D.I.Y. Bubble Bars kit, kids can make six custom bubble bars that will give off a fizzy fragrance in the bathtub. From unicorns to rainbows and even watermelons, there are all kinds of bubble bar shapes that kids can make to use for their own spa day or give to friends.

The kit contains everything kids need with the exception of vegetable oil, a bowl, and wax paper. You'll need to provide that from home. But once you have all your supplies laid out, it's as easy as mixing baking soda, cream of tartar, cornstarch, and sodium laureth sulfate with glycerin, essential oil, and vegetable oil until a dough forms. Divide the dough into separate bowls and add the food coloring to create different colors. You can then flatten the dough onto wax paper, use the cutters to cut out shapes, add colored details, and then let your creations dry for 24 hours. Once dry, simply crumble the Bubble Bar under running water to make soft and fluffy bubbles appear.

Is It Fun?

This is kind of like making a bath bomb but in different shapes and with layers for a 3-D appearance. Crafty kids who like spa days will enjoy the process of making these Bubble Bars and then using them to relax after a hard day at school or giving them to friends as cute gifts.

Who It’s For
