This construction block line will give kids a charge of excitement. That's because the blocks in the E-Blox line introduce electrical circuitry to kids without the use of wires. Each tin-plated block in the pARTS line connects to a battery block, connecting the electrical components. The pARTS Starter Set comes with 25 pieces to help beginners get started building a light tower, a heart, or a simple robot. They can also add these blocks to blocks and bricks from other compatible toy sets they may already own in the toy box for more building fun.
This is an open-ended construction set that encourages kids to experiment with the placement of the pieces to see how they can make the LED lights light up, especially when trying to build the suggested configurations or integrating them with other brick and block systems they own to build something totally new.
The pARTS Starter Set is for ages 8 and up. This will be fun for kids who like building toys.
The set requires one 9V battery.
The instructions give kids the basics on how to connect the LED modules and E-Blox plates to get the LEDs to light up. But there are no specific instructions on how to build the sample builds shown on the back of the box.
Sometimes it was a little difficult to get the bricks to snap together.
1 9-volt battery required
