Jurassic World Real Feel Mosasaurus Review (Mattel)

Jurassic World Real Feel Mosasaurus
What It Is

The Jurassic World Real Feel Mosasaurus is based on the biggest and baddest water dinosaur to ever grace planet earth, and the Jurassic World movies. The Mosasaurus first made its debut in the first Jurassic World film when it was seen jumping out of the tank to first eat a shark, then a Pteranodon (along with Claire's assistant in its talons), and finally the *spoiler alert* Indominus Rex to end the final battle. Like the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Mosasaurus is a carnivore that once reigned supreme in the Cretaceous period, only the mosasaurus is actually a sea lizard.

This jumbo figure brings the prehistoric beast to life off-screen for dinosaur fans and film fans alike with its "real feel" design. This dinosaur action figure features a rubbery, skin-like texture to it, as well as a movable jaw and fins.

This toy does require a bit of assembly though with click and snap into place tail and fins.

Is It Fun?

Once assembled, the Jurassic World Real Feel Mosasaurus is perfect for dino play for all ages. The jaw opens really wide, making it great to pretend to feed smaller dinosaurs and action figures to this beast.

It's also the kind of toy that if your child likes dinosaurs, seeing the films isn't really required but merely adds to the fantasy play kids can create with this figure.

Who It’s For

The Jurassic World Mosasaurus is for ages 3 and up from Mattel. We think, much like some of the other dinosaurs in this line, it's the scale and attention to detail that is going to win kids and Jurassic World fans over.

What To Be Aware Of

All the info about the product says it's 18-inches in length but once assembled it's even bigger at roughly 28 inches long---putting even the big Jurassic World Thrash 'N Throw Tyrannosaurus Rex to shame!
