Stokke Xplory Stroller Review (Stokke)

Stokke Xplory Stroller
What It Is

The Stokke Xplory Stroller is a luxury stroller for a fashionable lifestyle. This is a great everyday minimalist stroller that fits a busy lifestyle in the suburbs or the city. This stroller has lots of features which we will get into but we cannot go any further without noting the sleek striking design line of the Xplory. This stroller will definitely get attention.

  • The Xplory allows the seat to be rear or forward facing and the height can be adjusted to fit dining tables or sit higher while strolling. This is a great feature because baby can be rear facing at a higher level to be closer to parent and above the busy sidewalks.
  • Puncture-free wheels and lockable swivel front wheels allow this stroller to handle tight spaces.
  • A shopping bag neatly sits on the bottom of the stroller and can be detached.
  • The seat of this stroller reclines to a full bassinet for comfort and an extended canopy with visor provides protection from the bright sun. A zipper allows you to vent the seat to make it comfy for baby.
  • In the rear-facing mode-which faces the parent, there are 3 positions-sleep, rest and active.
  • In forward facing mode there are 2 position- rest and active-this helps baby see where they are strolling.
  • The padded seat is ergonomically designed to help support the legs and a depth adjustable baby pad helps accommodate small babies.
  • The fabric is water repellant with UPF 50+ sun protection.
  • A five-point harness keeps baby secure and a one-hand adjust allows you to switch positions of the seat.
Why Is It Useful?

Overall, this is an expensive stroller that does function well on smooth surfaces and gets high points for design. It is a show stopper and we like the levels that the seat can be adjusted. It's easy to maneuver and comfortable for baby.

Who It’s For

The Stokke Xplory Stroller is for use for babies 6-45 pounds. This luxury stroller is for the minimalist parent. This stroller is a fashion statement with a clean sleek design.

What To Be Aware Of

While this stroller is stunning and has a lot of features that we do like, there are a few things to keep in mind. This stroller didn't take bumpy roads as well as we would have liked for our baby. It handled smooth sidewalks and mall surfaces very well but was a bit shaky for bumpy surfaces. The two-part fold is bulky and does take up a good amount of space if not all the space in the trunk of your car. The hefty price tag only comes with one seat and additional accessories can be purchased separately. The storage bag is not enough to store too many things. If you choose to put your diaper bag in it, it might be all the space it has.

Additional accessories like a bassinet, car seat, car seat adapters are sold separately.
