OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Here's a collectible figure that's sure to turn your head. Better yet, the figure's face turns for new expressions, too.  These three figures are some of the newest introductions in Hasbro's Mighty Muggs collection. From the ever-growing  Star Wars line,  this set includes a Stormtrooper, young Han Solo and young Lando Calrissian.

As collecting becomes an ever bigger part of the Star Wars experience for its legion of fans, new characters and styles are more appealing than ever. The Mighty Muggs have a squat, urban vinyl look and a matte finish that are proven and popular styles in the category. Mighty Muggs add one more feature that we really like...changing faces. Push down on the head, and the expression of the character rotates so you get three different looks for your character, each offering a great interpretation of the character from the film.

Each figure comes in a showcase package that lets you try out all three faces. Leave them in the package for display, or turn the screws on the bottom to release them. These are great for fans and make great gifts. All of them are sold separately, and other characters in the collection include Kylo Ren, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Yoda and more. They don't do much, that's for sure, but face it: they're pretty cool.

Is It Fun?
These are definitely for collectors, but the added play of being able to change the faces adds a level of interactive play. They'll appeal to fans and collectors who respond to the abstract design and interpretation of the characters. Being able to change the faces is actually pretty cool and makes these more than static collectibles.
Who It’s For

The Mighty Muggs are age graded for 6 and up. They'll appeal to fans of the Star Wars franchise and particularly to those looking for a different kind of collectible. The squat, figural sculpting has become a kind of standard in the collectibles arena in recent seasons, and these fit right in to other figures.

What To Be Aware Of

The Star Wars Mighty Muggs collection also includes Kylo Ren and Princess Leia.

Some of the figures need a little firmer push on the top of the head than others to change the faces.
