Rock out with rock art thanks to the Mandala Rock Art and Galaxy Rock Art kits from Horizon Group USA. Playing off of the rock-painting trend, each of these kits provide instructions and tools, including rocks, so that kids can learn how to paint a variety of designs on rocks.
The Mandala Rock Art kit includes two pounds of stones, three dimensional paints, three paint pots, a paintbrush, and instructions.
Galaxy Rock Art includes two pounds of stones, six paint pots, glow-in-the-dark glitter glue, a foam brush, a paintbrush, and instructions.
This will be a fun and creative activity for kids who like painting and who are into the rock-painting trend. The instructions don't go into great detail on how to create a specific design. Instead they kind of give kids the basics as a jumping off point and let kids create however they want. There is plenty of picture inspiration on the boxes, and kids can use their imaginations to dream up all sorts of glittery and dimensional artwork for their rocks.
The Mandala and Galaxy Rock Art kits are for ages 6 and up. These will be fun arts and crafts kits for creative kids who are into the rock-painting trend.
Each of the Rock Art kits is sold separately. Additional themes include Marbled and Metallic.
Painting the rocks might take some time because you'll need to let the paint dry in between coats.
You'll need to provide your own water for cleaning your paintbrushes and scrap paper to protect your work surface.
