EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Take the action of the Incredibles off the screen and into the playroom. The Incredibles 2 Costumed Action Figures from Jakks Pacific collection includes Elastigirl, Violet, and Edna. Mr. Incredible and Jack-Jack are also part of this collection.

These are action figures in a traditional fashion doll type of design, though the figures are in relative size to the way they appear in the movies. That means that while Elastigirl and Violet are pretty much the size of a traditional fashion doll, Edna much shorter, the way she appears in the movies. Designed for kids ages 3 years and up, the dolls are excellent likeness of the characters from the movies. They're poseable, so kids can engage in all kinds of narrative-based play with them. We also think that they'll make nice collectibles for display as well. The fabric clothes will come off, we think with a bit of work, but they aren't interchangeable and no extra outfits are available, so this isn't really a fashion doll play pattern.

Violet's and Elasticgirl's masks will come off, and they're designed just to stick to the dolls' faces, as they do in the movies. While these will definitely appeal to Disney/Pixar an Incredibles collectors, they're also very good for the kind of typical doll/action figure play younger kids engage in.

Is It Fun?

These are certainly good looking action figures/dolls that will appeal to fans of the show. Fun will really be determined by whether or not kids want to engage in story-based play with these characters. Sincde you can't dress them up in different outfits, the fashion play element of figures of this scale isn't really part of the play.

Who It’s For

These are for kids ages 4 and up, and in play they'll be good for recreating scenes from the movies or creating their own.

The action figures/dolls are great looking and nicely detailed, and they'll appeal to collectors as display pieces.

What To Be Aware Of
As noted, although the figures have fabric costumes, they're not really designed to be removed. They won't fit the other characters in the series.

The fabric costumes make posing the figures a little more difficult, as the fabric catches and the figures won't hold their poses. Aside from moving the arms and the head, the Edna figure isn't really poseable at all.

The collection also includes a Mr. Incredible and Jack-Jack set.

All figures are sold separately.
