What It Is

It will take strategy and patience to move the fearsome Chinese warlord through the Huarong Pass, but if you like solving puzzles, then you might be up for the challenge with the Sliding Blocks of Huarong Wooden Puzzle. What you get is a wooden puzzle board with 10 wooden puzzle pieces in various sizes. Etched onto the puzzle pieces are characters from one of the most legendary battles in Chinese history - The Battle of the Red Cliffs. Your objective is to slide the blocks around the board to move the biggest block out through the step at the bottom. The blocks can only be moved horizontally or vertically, and you can't remove any block from the board. It can't be done in less than 84 moves.

Is It Fun?

This puzzle is definitely going to be a challenge, but for those who enjoy these types of puzzles, it will be a fun challenge. The look of the puzzle itself is really nice and would be something that puzzlers could keep out on display, especially if they're taking a break from trying to solve the puzzle.

The Sliding Blocks of Huarong Wooden Puzzle is for ages 8 and up. It has a difficulty rating of Grandmaster, which is the hardest difficulty level on a scale of one to three, so this is going to be a puzzle for the hardcore puzzler.
