OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Challenge Thanos alongside Iron-Man in the Marvel Avengers: Infinity War Iron Man vs. Thanos Battle Set. Once Thanos gets a hold of that gauntlet, it's game time for the Avengers and Iron Man is about to challenge Thanos' powers. This set comes with two figures, Thanos and Iron Man.

The Iron Man figure comes in a set pose from the waist down. His upper body, however, is posable at the arms and neck.

The Thanos figure is where the lights and sound effects in this set come into play. As the wielder of the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos is feeling pretty good about himself and his abilities right now-as noted from pretty much every phrase that comes out of his mouth. You can press the button on his chest plate to hear sound effects and phrases, or press down on the lever on his back to activate sword slashing arm action and make the Infinity Gauntlet light up. Two included infinity stones can also be attached to Thanos' sword accessory to add to the fun of roleplaying as this evil villain of the universe.

You can also use the Infinity Stones included with this action figure set with the Avengers: Infinity War Hero Vision AR Experience to provide power-ups within the game. See below for more on that.

Is It Fun?

This action figure set is perfect for young fans to act out what is sure to be some epic battle scenes in the latest Marvel Avengers movie. With two figures included (good vs. evil), kids can let their imaginations run wild as soon as they get the toys out of the packaging. Thanos' built-in sound effects add to the fun of trying to take down this big-time Marvel villain.

Who It’s For

The Marvel Avengers: Infinity War Iron Man vs. Thanos Battle Set is for ages 4 and up from Hasbro.  It's going to appeal to young fans with its built-in sound effects and lights that help to further inspire pretend play with these iconic Marvel characters. It will also appeal to collectors, however the look of these figures on the packaging versus how they actually appear does differ.

What To Be Aware Of

On the packaging, the figures look to have a more metallic and, frankly, higher quality look to them than the actual plastic ones you get. For little kids, this probably won't matter too much but for collectors, especially those buying online, be aware.

You can insert the Infinity Stones included in this set into the Iron Man gauntlet in the  Avengers: Infinity War Hero Vision AR Experience to activate new power-ups within the game.
