LEGO Classic Ocean's Bottom Review (LEGO)

LEGO Classic Ocean's Bottom
What It Is

What will you build at the bottom of the LEGO ocean with the LEGO Classic Ocean's Bottom construction set? Using the 579 pieces in this set, kids can build a variety of underwater-themed models or build whatever they want. This set, model number 10404, is all about engaging kids in imaginative construction play to see how they use the wheels, eyes, shapes, and special-edition 60th anniversary LEGO tile to build.

There are instructions for building an octopus, a wheeled rocket, a fire-breathing dragon, and a trumpet, and you can find instructions for a castle and a speeder vehicle on the LEGO website.

The set comes with two minifigures and lots of accessories, including a sword, a wizard's hat, pie, a hammer, a wrench, a cleaver, a round shield, a broom, two mugs, a frying pan, a chicken leg, flippers, a carrot, a hairbrush, a knight's helmet, a space helmet, two wigs, and a fish.

Is It Fun?

This is a fun way to add to a LEGO collection for even more creative building, and while kids will certainly have fun building the models in the instruction booklet (an octopus chef is pretty silly!), they will also love using their imaginations to build all sorts of different creations.

Who It’s For

The LEGO Classic Ocean's Bottom construction set is for ages 5 and up. It is a fun stand-alone set for LEGO fans and a nice addition to a LEGO collection.

What To Be Aware Of

The models in this set are small and have different building difficulty levels. Kids are encouraged to build their own creations and not just what's shown on the box.
