OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

The ultimate hangout spot for the LEGO Friends is now the ultimate playset for LEGO Friends fans. It's the LEGO Friends Friendship House. This 722-piece construction set, model number 41340, is a double-sided, four-level playset with lots of fun features. Plus, it comes with three minifigures of Olivia, Emma, and Andrea for helping to play out those features, along with Dash the dog, Rumble the hamster, and Cinnamon the bunny figures.

As the story goes, the Friendship House is actually a converted fire station building, so it still has a brick facade and an alarm bell on the outside. The translucent garage door really opens and closes. There's an outdoor garden area, a performance terrace above the garage, a barbecue area with slide, and a rooftop terrace with hot tub, telescope, working pulley for bringing up supplies, and a fireman's pole for the minifigures to slide down.

Plus, there's a friendship tree with swing and a bicycle with a trailer full of tools.

But that's just the outside. On the inside there's a bottom-level kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, and worktop counter. Head to the second floor to get crafty at the craft table with five stools. There's also an opening craft closet and two doors that open out onto the performance terrace. The third floor bedroom has five beds and a double-sided TV that slides to reveal a secret mission screen.

And there are a lot of accessories, including walkie-talkies, a guitar, popcorn, pizza, a teapot, a washing-up liquid bottle, a craft box, scissors, artwork tiles, five fabric blankets, an MP3 player, juice bar glasses, and a carrot.

Is It Fun?

This is a very cool construction set dollhouse for the LEGO Friends characters. Kids will have fun building and playing out all sorts of fun stories for the characters and their animal friends, from going on secret missions to having awesome slumber parties. There are a lot of fun features and details to inspire a lot of imaginative play.

Who It’s For

The LEGO Friends Friendship House is for ages 6 and up, and will really appeal to LEGO Friends fans and any girl who likes doll play and construction play.
