Can you nail the hammer drop? Test your Hot Wheels launching abilities with the Hot Wheels Track Builder Hammer Drop Challenge track set. Once you get it set up, load the die-cast car into the launcher and press down to launch it. The goal is to have the car soar into the hammer, drop it, and zoom out the other end of the track. You might have to adjust the angle of the ramp and the distance between the launcher and the hammer before you reach your goal.
You can also play a different way by raising the hammer's gate and trying to launch the car through the gate. The gate's height can be adjusted, too, for creating different challenges.
And, of course, if you have other Hot Wheels orange track, you can add that to this track set, as well as other objects from home to create cool car stunts.
This is a cool track set that encourages kids to use problem-solving skills as they experiment with height and distance to see how they can achieve the goal of nailing the hammer drop. And when they do, it'll be really cool. With two ways to create stunts, this track set will be fun to play with on its own, but it's also a fun addition to other Hot Wheels tracks to help build out an even bigger stunt-tastic Track Builder world.
The Hammer Drop Challenge is for ages 6 to 12, and will be a fun stunt track set on its own or a neat addition to a Track Builder system for Hot Wheels fans who have one.
This took us about five minutes to assemble, and it was easy to do.
This is compatible with other Hot Wheels track sets, sold separately.
