Gel-a-Peel Fashion Station Review (MGA Entertainment)

Gel-a-Peel Fashion Station
What It Is

Make jewelry, patches, and more with the Gel-a-Peel Fashion Station. This cool fashion design center lets kids use shimmery gel to design accessories and even use a screenprinting technique on fabric. It comes with everything kids need, except for fabric. The gel colors include So Metal Pure Gold, Pearly Black, Pearly Plum, Sparkle Light Pink, and Pearly Lilac.

You can choose from 10 different stencils to create colorful designs on lightweight fabric, such as a T-shirt or a bag. Stencil designs include a heart, a flower, and a cupcake. Just follow the instructions to clamp the frame around the fabric, squeeze the gel colors on top of the stencil, and squeegee the colors on top of the stencil and onto the fabric. Remove the stencil and let your design dry before wearing.

You can also use the two gel trays to create a shimmery clutch made of gel, or trace over the designs on the included template to make bracelets, earrings, and patches.

Is It Fun?

This is a pretty easy and creative kit that allows kids to become fashion designers. They'll like the array of design activities they can choose from, and that they can use the templates and stencils for a more polished look or go freehand with the gel tubes to create a one-of-a-kind design. No matter what the finished result is, kids will enjoy wearing and showing off their cool gel fashions.
