OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

If you like making slime with Karina Garcia, then you'll like making bath bombs with her using the Make-Your-Own Bath Bombs kit. This comes with almost everything you need to make three bath bomb creations in the shape of a sphere or a bear. You'll need to provide vegetable oil, two mixing bowls, and water.

In just four steps, you'll have created a bath bomb. Combine wet ingredients in one bowl and dry ingredients in another. A color tablet will go into the wet ingredients bowl, and once that has dissolved, slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir. Then pack the mixture into your chosen mold. This is also when you can add some of the colorful gems so that they can be revealed when the bath bomb dissolves in the bath water. Let the mixture sit in the mold for 10 to 12 minutes before gently removing. Wait at least two hours before using the bath bomb.

Is It Fun?

These bath bombs are very easy to make and very on-trend. Kids just love bath bombs. It gives them a spa day at home that they created, and they'll also like the variety of creating a bath bomb in the shape of a bear and adding in the hidden gems, especially if they are going to give a bath bomb to a friend.

Who It’s For

The Make-Your-Own Bath Bombs kit is for ages 8 and up. Kids who like making their own beauty products will have fun creating the bath bombs to use for themselves or give to friends as gifts.

What To Be Aware Of

The kit includes instructions, a bag of baking soda, a bag of corn starch, a bag of sea salt, a bag of citric acid, 6ml of lavender scent, 6ml of jasmine scent, six color tablets (two red, two yellow, two blue), two sphere bath bomb molds, a bear bath bomb mold, a bag of hidden treasures (15 pieces), a measuring scoop, and a stirring spoon.

It does take awhile for the color tablet to dissolve.
