OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

The Fisher-Price 2-in-1 Sit to Stand Activity Center, Spin 'n Play Safari is a convertible activity center to grow with your child from when she can sit, to when she starts standing.

In sit stage, baby can be placed in the comfy, padded fabric seat, which spins to allow baby to explore 360 degrees of interactions. There is also a buckle located at the bottom of the seat to adjust the seat to three different height positions. Babies feet should not hang when using but should lay flat on the floor. Once secured properly, baby can explore all the different play features around her, such as 20-minutes of continuous music on the light-up alligator key board, the multi-textured bug pals that help teach color and shape recognition, a mirror for self-discovery, rattle for sensory play, and much more. Each of the toys clicks into place on the activity center and can also be repositioned or detached completely for play on the go.

As your little one grows and outgrows the sit stage, convert the activity center into a play table for your toddler. To do so, remove the seat, remove the seat pad, and then replace it with the attachable racing ramp. Detach any or all of the roller bugs (held in place with t-shaped tags) and send them flying down the ramp.

Is It Fun?

There are a lot of components to this playset to not only grow with your child but engage their fine and gross motors skills as well as their auditory, tactile, and visual senses. We are also big fans of anything that can grow with your child, meaning more repeat play value and overall bang for your buck---especially if you have more than one little one who can get use out of this.

For parents, the center was easy to set up as well as convert; everything snaps easily and securely into place, and detaches just as easily to reconfiguring the toys and activity center. In addition, we also like the overall design aesthetic, which still can play more easily into home decor which plays into 2018 color trends of more dramatic color mixing.

Who It’s For

The Fisher-Price 2-in-1 Sit to Stand Activity Center, Spin 'n Play Safari can be used for babies in sit mode starting at about 4-6 months, then converted for use as a toddler activity table from about ages 9-36 months. It holds a maximum weight of 25 pounds. Note: see What to Be Aware Of section for further details about when to use in each mode.

What To Be Aware Of

This activity center should only be used when your baby can hold her head up on her own, unassisted.

Do NOT use this activity center in sit stage if your baby is capable of walking or climbing out of it.
