OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Fisher-Price continues to upgrade its SpaceSaver High Chair. Not only does it save you space, but the new version also features updated fabric designs, washability, and a toddler booster seat function.

The whole point of the SpaceSaver High Chair is to save space. Instead of a full-size high chair, this high chair attaches to a regular adult chair. You can detach it and put it away when not in use, and there's even storage on the back of the high chair for the tray and tray insert to make it that much more compact.

Some of the features you might remember from previous versions are the two height settings and three recline positions. These both allow the high chair to grow with your baby from birth to the toddler years. But what's also nice with this new version is that it becomes a toddler booster seat by removing the seat back and fabric pad.

The tray design is a little different from previous versions, too. This one is a bit deeper, which is designed to keep baby from pushing food off the tray. And what's really cool is that the tray, tray insert, seat back, and seat bottom are all safe to wash in the dishwasher. Of course, the spill-resistant seat pad and harness are machine washable.

And then there are the fabric designs. You can choose from a triangle pattern; a teal/green/gray chevron arrow pattern; a pink and gray triangles and diamonds pattern; a bright multi-colored triangle pattern; a hexagon pattern in blues, grays, and golds; a citrus-inspired pattern; a pink and gray triangle pattern; and a large pink and gray flower pattern. Each is sold separately.

Why Is It Useful?

This new version of the SpaceSaver High Chair offers the same great features of the original with a few updates to make it even convenient for parents. The adjustability means that it will grow with your child and be something that you can keep around for several years. And with the on-trend fabric designs, you won't mind keeping this high chair out in your house. Plus, the whole thing is really easy to clean. Whether you're a family with limited space or you're a grandparent who wants a lightweight chair for babysitting or whenever the grandbabies come to visit, this offers the benefits of a full-size highchair at half the size.

Who It’s For

The SpaceSaver High Chair is for babies and toddlers up to 50 pounds. The space-saving feature of this high chair is great for families who live in apartments or who just don't want bulk baby gear taking up a lot of room in their homes.

What To Be Aware Of

Adult assembly is required and is easy to do.
