If you watch Family Feud, then you'll know some of the survey questions seem pretty ridiculous. And now all of that ridiculousness is encapsulated in the game Family Feud After Hours Edition. This adults-only version of the game has a variety of questions ranging from "Name something you can tell that the guy sitting next to you forgot to do today" to "Besides sleeping, tell me something you'll be doing in bed tonight".
The game is played like how you see it on the TV show except there is no Fast Money bonus round. In the first Face-Off round, the host player reads a survey question, and two players face off to name the top answer, or the highest-scoring answer, first. The player who does gets the option for his team to pass or play. The team that plays has to come up with the rest of the survey answers before they get three strikes. If they get all the answers, they score all the points. If not, the other team has a chance to steal the points by naming just one correct answer.
The next two Face-Off rounds play the same way but with points being doubled.
The team with the most points at the end of three rounds wins.
If you're a fan of Family Feud, then you'll like playing this new at-home version of the TV game show. It's always so interesting to read what some of the survey answers are. Who are these people and why in the world did so many of them give that answer?
Not all of the survey questions are inappropriate, and it's really nothing that you haven't seen on the TV show, so don't expect this to be some crazy raunchy version of the game, although it could end up that way depending on your group of players. Still, the content deals with adult themes, so you'll probably only want to break out this game after the younger ones in your family go to bed.
Family Feud After Hours is for three or more players ages 17 and up. This age range is because of the content of the game.
The game comes with 200 Family Feud After Hours Edition survey cards, an answer board, a scoreboard with strike indicator, a wipe-off marker, and an instruction sheet.
