With Crate Creatures, you've got to free the beast to have some fun. What's inside the crate? A fuzzy little monster with more than 45 creature sounds and effects. Right now, there are two monsters in the lineup, including Blizz, an ice monster from the frozen caves of Icica. You can sort of see what the creature looks like inside the crate. There's even a "pull my tongue" (or rather, "do not pull my tongue" feature) on the packaging, but you'll have to use the included plastic crowbar to break open the crate and break out your creature.
Once the creature is free, there are several ways to play with it. Pull its tongue and watch it shake and make funny noises as its eyes glow. It will even repeat what you say in a monstrous creature voice. Turn the creature upside down or shake it for even more funny sounds. Squeeze the creature's tail to make Blizz thrash its arms. And Blizz comes with a popsicle accessory that you can feed it to hear chomping sounds.
The best part? You can put the creature back in its crate and unleash it over and over.
Crate Creatures are very silly and for sure will perfectly capture the sense of humor of little boys. This is like an unboxing meets an interactive toy pet meets gross-out humor. Kids are really going to like freeing their creature from the crate and seeing all the silly things they can make it do. And they'll like that they can unbox them over and over again.
Crate Creatures Blizz is for ages 4 and up. This is going to offer silly fun for boys who like monsters, unboxing, and fart sound effects.
The toy comes with three AA batteries, but those power the in-store try-me features, so you'll probably want to replace them before you play for best results.
Crate Creatures Sizzle is sold separately.
