Chippies Chipper Review (WowWee)

Chippies Chipper
What It Is

Imagine your very own puppy without the mess and you've got Chippies. Kind of like WowWee's robotic dog CHiP, which came out in 2016, Chippies have a variety of interactive features, but these smaller pups, which include blue dog Chipper, are suited to younger kids. There's a remote control to drive them around, make them sing and dance, and put them in guard dog mode. Or in Free Roam mode, your Chippies pup will roam around and explore on his own.

Plus, Chippies respond to your touch thanks to a nose sensor. You can make your pup lick, sniff, kiss, sneeze, or whimper.

The instructions also tell you how to use the remote to activate secret controls for more sound effects and fun and silly movements. Yes, you can make your Chippies pup fart. The dogs even have poseable hind legs so you can make your Chippies pup sit.

Is It Fun?

These are cute little dogs with enough interactivity to allow kids to feel like they are really playing with a real dog. And the interactive play is easy to activate. Controlling the dog's movements is easy to do with the remote, and the touch sensor is very responsive. This is a great robotic pet pup for young kids.

Who It’s For

Chippies Chipper is for ages 5 and up. The blue color of this dog will probably appeal more to boys, but the interactive content will be appealing to any kid who enjoys technology and robotic pets.

What To Be Aware Of

Chippies Chipper requires four AAA batteries, not included, and comes with one cell battery.
