Chippies Chippo Review (WowWee)

Chippies Chippo
What It Is

A puppy that you don't have to potty train? That's what you get with Chippies! Based on WowWee's robotic dog CHiP, which came out in 2016, the Chippies have a variety of interactive features, but these smaller pups, which include black-and-gold dog Chippo, are suited to younger kids. Use the remote control to drive them around, make them sing and dance, and put them in guard dog mode. Or in Free Roam mode, your Chippies pup will roam around and explore on his own.

Plus, Chippies respond to your touch thanks to a nose sensor. You can make your pup lick, sniff, kiss, sneeze, or whimper, depending on how you touch its nose.

And if you want your dog to fart, there's a way to make it happen. The instructions tell you how to use the remote to activate secret controls for more sound effects and fun and silly movements. The dogs even have poseable hind legs so you can make your Chippies pup sit.

Is It Fun?

We think these cute little dogs offer enough interactivity to allow kids to feel like they are really playing with a real dog. What's also nice is how easy Chippies are to control and how responsive the touch sensor is. The easy-to-activate interactive features make this a great robotic pet for young kids.

Who It’s For

Chippies Chippo is for ages 5 and up. This is a cool robotic toy puppy for kids who are interested in technology and robotic pets.
