EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

If you are the parent of a crawling baby or a toddling toddler, then you're probably familiar with baby gates. If you're looking for a way to protect your walls, provide more stability, and bring your gate closer to the ground, then you need the Wall Nanny. These wall protectors fit on the spindles or bolts of pressure-mounted baby gates, and you don't need special tools to attach them. They have a flat, soft rubber backing on one side that fits flush against your wall, and a circular opening where the gate's spindle or bolt fits right in.

The mini size is 1.75 inches by 1.75 inches, so is very compact to fit in doorways and other small spaces. The regular size is 3.5 inches by 1.8 inches and can be turned vertical so that it also fits in doorways. Both versions come in different colors, including brown, grey, and white, and are available in packs of four.

These work on most Regalo, Evenflo, Munchkin, Summer Infant, KidCo, Safety 1st, and Carlson pressure-mounted walkthrough auto-retractable gates.

Why Is It Useful?

These will be very useful for parents who are concerned about their baby gates doing damage to their walls or who want a little more stability for their baby gates in their hallways, doorways, or stairways. And the use is not limited to parents of babies. Pet parents will also find these useful for their pet gates. We like that these are easy to install with your gate (although, we can't guarantee it will be easy to install the actual gate) and that their size and color makes them blend in with your walls and baseboards.

Who It’s For

Wall Nanny is for use by parents or pet parents who are tired of setting up baby or pet gates and having those gates ruin their walls.

What To Be Aware Of

A baby gate is sold separately. These are compatible with most Regalo, Evenflo, Munchkin, Summer Infant, KidCo, Safety 1st, and Carlson pressure-mounted walkthrough auto-retractable gates.
