Wobb-Ball Review (Mattel)

What It Is

The Wobb-Ball is a two player paddle ball game that can be played in most places. Players hit the ball that's connected to a shaft and the ball begins to wobble. You win points when your opponents misses or hits the shaft. If you hit it too hard and the ball hits the ground, you lose the point, which stops players from hitting too hard.

Is It Fun?
Everyone thought at TTPM we'd be bored after playing a few minutes, but this game is quite addicting. There is some strategy on how to hit the ball without hitting too hard.

The wobbly ball makes you really focus and can help improve hand eye coordination. Points generally won't last too long, and a game of to 10 can be played in ten minutes.

Who It’s For
This toy is age graded for kids 8+, but any child or adult that enjoys any type of racket sports will enjoy the challenge of playing. For kids who haven't developed good hand eye coordination, hitting a wobbly ball can be challenging and could easily get frustrated especially playing with someone with better skills.
What To Be Aware Of
If you hit the ball in a circular manner, it can be especially challenging to hit the ball no matter your skill level. It's also recommended that you empty the water out of the base when finished playing.
