With larger Arckit sets, older kids could build big. But now, younger kids can build with sets sized for them thanks to the TinyTown line of construction sets. There are three different 40-piece sets simply labeled TinyTown 01, 02, and 03, and each one includes a selection of pastel components and classic angled roofs so that kids can build cities and neighborhoods of their own design. The green tiles can represent grass. The purple tiles can be the roads. And the interior of the box is printed with a city skyline to serve as a backdrop for your model. Each set is sold separately.
These sets are a fun and hands-on way to introduce STEM concepts to young kids, especially for kids who have an interest in building things and playing with construction toys. The colors of these sets are really nice, and the pieces fit together very easily. The play is open-ended, encouraging kids to build their own little towns and cities however they want.
The Arckit TinyTown sets are for ages 5 and up. These sets will be fun for kids who like construction toys.
The instruction pamphlet gives picture instructions for one way to build along with picture examples of another way to build. Kids are encouraged to think creatively and come up with their own models.
