What It Is

The Disney Animators' Collection Advent Calendar from the Disney Store features drawings, and figures from the beloved Animators' Collection. The beautifully designed cardboard case opens with velcro to reveal 24 perforated doors. Behind each door is a sculpted figure or accessory inspired by a classic Disney movie. Characters include Ariel, Flounder, and Sebastian from The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, and Meeko from Pocahontas, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and Tick Tock from Peter Pan, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Designed for kids ages 3 and up, the doors should be opened in order beginning on December 1st - with one for each day of December leading up to and including Christmas Eve. As an added element of surprise, each sculpture is packaged in a blind bag for kids to open. Additionally, the front panel of the box folds down, and features illustrated scenery with perforated card stock elements that fold out to stand. This offers a sweet spot to display the figures and accessories as they are opened. Kids can continue to play with the figures all year.

It is a very cute, well designed set that would make a great keepsake with figures that offer imaginative play long after the Christmas season has passed. What To Be Aware Of

There are no instructions but the way Advent calendars typically woks is that one door should be opened each day beginning with door 1 on December 1st. The subsequent door is opened the following day and so on for each day of December leading up to and including Christmas Eve.
