Justice League Wonder Woman Figure Review (Mattel)

Justice League Wonder Woman Figure
What It Is

In November, the DC Extended Universe shifts into high gear when Justice League is released in theaters. Bringing together the six founders of the League, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash and Cyborg, this movie will have a lot of action and will likely inspire many kids who want to play superhero.

To help kids and collectors have as many action figures, vehicles and types of play as possible, Mattel is releasing several Justice League toy lines, including basic 6-inch action figures.

Featuring 12 points of articulation each, these figures are clearly designed for kids who want to play Justice League, although some collectors will like them too.

The initial release comes with Superman, Batman, Aquaman and Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman gets the worst figure in the line, with an expressionless face that doesn't really capture Gal Gadot. She comes with the best accessories, however - a sword and shield. And, her lasso is attached at the hip, even though it can't be removed.

Is It Fun?

Due to Wonder Woman's movie-authentic look and her ability to pose thanks to her  12 points of articulation, this is a fun action figure.  The only real miss is the lack of a villain in the initial wave.

Who It’s For

At a $9.99 MSRP and age graded for 3 years and up, this line is a decent representation of the Justice League. While kids will find a lot to play with, collectors may want to look for one of Mattel's more upscale lines.

What To Be Aware Of

Each figure in the line is sold separately, so parents and kids should be prepared to spend a decent amount to make sure they have the entire League, as well as villains, when they become available.
