OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Now you can really control the Spider-Man action with the Spider-Man Homecoming Super Sense Spider-Man. This 24-inch action figure responds to five different voice commands with more than 100 phrases and sounds, plus web-blasting, missile-firing, and more. The figure comes with a 3.7-ounce can of Spidey Shot Web Fluid (which is really just a Silly String-like substance) and four plastic projectiles. There is also a base for giving the Spider-Man figure extra support.

If you say "Web shooters, go!", then Spider-Man will shoot either the web fluid or web projectiles. You can choose which setting you want by flipping a switch on the back of the figure.

If you say "Danger! Danger!", then Spider-Man uses his spider senses to alert you to danger nearby.

If you say "Team up!", then you control the web or missile action by moving and twisting Spider-Man's legs and pressing the buttons to shoot.

If you say "Spider-Sense Training", then Spider-Man will give you directions of things to find, and you'll need to find them before time runs out.

And if you say "Tell me a joke", then Spider-Man will tell a joke.

Is It Fun?

The interaction between kid and Spider-Man makes it feel like a child is really having a conversation with their favorite superhero. The web slinging, projectile launching, and other movements bring a lot of action to this action figure. And what would a Spider-Man toy be without web launching? This toy is a bit on the pricey side, so it's going to be up to parents to determine if the cost is worth it for their kid.

Who It’s For

The Spider-Man Homecoming Super Sense Spider-Man is for ages 5 and up. Spider-Man fans will have a blast blasting fake web and projectiles with this talking Spider-Man action figure.

What To Be Aware Of

This includes four C batteries for the in-store try-me features, so it's recommended that you replace them before you play for best results. And make sure you switch Spider-Man to "On" mode to activate the full features.

The web fluid doesn't always shoot out from Spidey's hand very well. There are some troubleshooting tips you'll want to try, such as shaking the can before use.

This toy is available exclusively at Target.
